index location

index location

Hi! I would like to transfer my index file to a faster hard drive. Windows Help suggests a Move command in Index Options control panel. But the location won't change even after reboot. Any suggestions?
TIA,
Stooovie

Did you try changing it to a specific folder on the different drive instead of the entire drive? Also, it could be something do with your permissions on that drive. -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta
